About the Role.
We are seeking a Registered Psychotherapist (RP) or Registered Social Worker (RSW) to join our team as an Independent Contractor Associate Therapist.

Key Responsibilities.
Provide psychotherapy in line with your regulatory college’s standards
Maintain documentation and clinical records per CRPO/OCSWSSW and PHIPA guidelines
Manage your own scheduling and billing
Communicate professionally and compassionately with clients
Invoice Paper Crane on a bi-weekly basis for services rendered
Maintain a minimum caseload of 5 client sessions/week, including at least 1 in-person day/week
Occasional miscellaneous tasks such as social media content creation

Please note: Formal clinical supervision is not included in this role.
Who You Are.
Registered and in good standing with CRPO or OCSWSSW
Master’s or Doctoral degree in psychotherapy, counselling, social work, or clinical psychology
Holds professional liability insurance
Able to provide a clear Vulnerable Sector Police Check
Strong professional and ethical standards and the ability to maintain appropriate client-therapist boundaries
Committed to practicing from an anti-oppressive, trauma-informed, neuro-diversity affirming lens
Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills
Self-motivated and able to work independently while contributing to team culture
Committed to a long-term contractor relationship with the practice
Available to begin September 2025
Compensation.
65% of client fees collected for standard rate sessions.
85% of client fees collected for up to 5 sliding scale sessions/week and any other client fees
$20/hour prorated for any mandatory meetings outside of client sessions
Non-mandatory additional opportunities (ex peer consultation, etc.) are optional and unpaid. Administrative work related to clients is considered compensated within the split-fee percentages.
